This Privacy Policy explains how Find Indie Apps handles information when you visit the website, create an account, submit an app, make a purchase, subscribe to the newsletter, or contact us.

Information you provide

When you create an account or sign in, we may receive your email address, name, avatar, profile link, and authentication details. We support email-based authentication and selected OAuth providers, such as Google and GitHub when configured.

When you submit or edit a listing, we process the app name, URL, description, images, icons, categories, tags, collections, and related submitter information. Published listing and profile information may be visible to the public as part of the directory.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address through Resend. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter through our unsubscribe page.

How we use information

We use information to operate and improve Find Indie Apps, manage accounts and listings, communicate with users, process payments, send transactional emails and newsletters, prevent abuse, provide support, and understand how the site is used.

Cookies and technical information

Supabase session cookies help keep you signed in. The website may also use a cookie to remember an optional interface preference, such as sidebar state. We may receive basic technical information, including browser, device, and page activity data.

Analytics are loaded only in production and only when the relevant provider is configured. Depending on the configuration, the site may use OpenPanel, Google Analytics, Umami, or Plausible. These providers may process page views, browser or device information, usage attributes, and outgoing-link events according to their own policies.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers to help operate the website. Supabase may provide authentication, database, and storage services. Resend may provide email delivery and newsletter contact management. Dodo Payments processes checkout and subscription payments. Payment details are handled according to Dodo's policies, and this application does not store full card details.

If configured, transaction details may also be sent to Discord for internal notifications. These notifications may include a customer name, amount, customer reference, and payment reference. We may also disclose information when necessary to provide the service, prevent abuse, protect rights or safety, or comply with legal obligations.

Links and choices

Our directory may link to third-party websites and apps. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one. You can contact us to ask about your information, correct details, or request help with or handling of your account data. We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect information. We retain it only for as long as needed to provide the service, complete transactions, support users, meet operational needs, resolve disputes, or comply with applicable requirements.
